Grandsapp

Terms of use

They apply to the Grandsapp app on the tablet, the Grandsapp for the family app and the website mygrands.app. Provider: Aning Film d.o.o., Opatovina 25, Zagreb, support@mygrands.app. Last changed: 18 October 2026.

1. What the service is

Grandsapp connects a tablet in someone's home with the phones of their family: the tablet shows the time, the weather, photos, reminders, the list, messages and video calls that the family edits and sends from their app. The service is the apps and the server that connects them.

2. Who may use the service

A family is created and managed by an adult. Whoever creates a family or manages it is responsible for whom they invite, which tablet they pair and what the family sends to the tablet. Anyone may use the tablet.

3. Content

Everything the family sends, photos, messages, reminders, the list and the board, stays theirs. You allow us to relay it and keep it, encrypted, as far as the service needs. The content is encrypted so that we cannot read it; only the family's devices see it. Do not send content you have no right to, unlawful content, or content that would distress the person with the tablet.

4. Price

The service is free.

5. What Grandsapp is not

Grandsapp is not a medical device, not an alarm system and not an emergency service. Reminders and notifications help, but they do not replace care and attention: a connection can drop, a tablet can run flat, a notification can be late or not arrive. Do not rely on the service for medication, health or safety without your own attention. In an emergency call 112.

6. Availability and changes

We try to keep the service running at all times, but we do not promise it will run without interruption. We may change and improve the apps and the server; changes to these terms are published on this page. Older versions of the apps may stop working when the server changes.

7. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, for lost content (in particular when a family loses every device holding its key, because then nobody can restore it) or for the consequences of relying on reminders and notifications. Consumers' statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Stopping

A family may stop using the service at any time: whoever alone manages the family deletes it in the app, under Settings → Delete the family (Deleting your data). We may restrict or end the access of a family that abuses the service, for example by attacking the server.

9. Governing law and disputes

Croatian law applies to these terms. A consumer keeps the protection the mandatory law of their country of residence gives them. Disputes go to the competent court in the Republic of Croatia, and a consumer may also turn to a body for alternative resolution of consumer disputes.
